Eligibility

• Graduation in any field along with JLPT N2/NAT N2/ Old Level L-2 above or BA in Japanese Language.

• To clear the entrance exam is compulsory


Evaluation Pattern

• Papers carrying 100 marks each per semester will be evaluated in 60 marks end semester + 40 marks internals.

• Internal marks of 40 will be evaluated through a) Assignments b) Regular Internal Tests c)Attendance and d) Performance in the class.

• Papers carrying 50 marks will be evaluated only for internal.

• Credit Details : Indicated max credits against each subject

Program Details

Policy for the Master of Arts in Japanese Language program

under the Multiple-Entry, Multiple-Exit System (ME ME)

Instructions

• MA in Japanese Language PG program can be of 2 years or 1 year.

• Eligibility Criteria for Master of Arts in Japanese Language (MA in Japanese Language) Program

o Admission to Direct Second Year of MA in Japanese Language Program: For students completing a 4-year Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language program with Honours with a minimum of 160 credits.

o Admission to First Year of MA in Japanese Language Program: For students completing 3-year Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language program with a minimum of 120 credits.

• Entry and Exit Point:

• Lateral entry students admitted in 2nd year of MA Japanese.

• Students taking admission in 1st year of MA Japanese can exit after completion of one year and will be awarded Postgraduate Diploma in Japanese Language.
