Program Details

The B.A. in Psychology is a regular, full-time undergraduate programme offered in a semester-based pattern in accordance with the National Education Policy framework, carrying a total of 22 credits. The programme provides students with a systematic understanding of human behaviour, mental processes, emotions, personality, learning, development and social interaction. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical understanding and helps students develop the academic and professional skills required for higher education and employment in psychology-related fields.

Eligibility

A candidate seeking admission to the B.A. in Psychology programme must have:

• Passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC/10+2)

• Secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination;

• Passed from any recognised stream, including Arts, Science or Commerce; and

• Passed from a recognised examination board, including HSC, ISC, CBSE, IC or any other equivalent recognised board.

Admission shall be subject to the rules, regulations and reservation policies prescribed by the University and the competent authorities from time to time.

Duration
