The Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth library was established in 1965. The Library is considered an integral part in the academic activities of the Vidyapeeth. It has a collection of more than 100000 books and subscribes to 62 periodicals (Indian & Foreign) on subjects like Social Sciences, Sanskrit, Literature, Philosophy, Religion, Indology, Ayurveda, Management, Hotel Management, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Law, Library Science Pharmacy etc. The Library provides services to all the students, research scholars, teaching and non-teaching staff of this Vidyapeeth. It also has a rich collection of 2270 manuscripts. Scanning & digitization of manuscripts has been completed. The Library operations are fully automated with SLIM-21 software. The library is located on two floors:- o Stack room, Circulation section: Ground floor o Reading hall, Periodicals section & Internet facility: 1st floor

• The library operations are automated using SLIM21 software. The Web-OPAC facility is available to users in the library.

• Networking is one of the effective ways of achieving the goal of resource sharing. Technology is revolutionizing library automation and networking. INFLIBNET is a major programme initiated by UGC for the automation and networking of libraries. The library of this Vidyapeeth has been identified under the INFLIBNET programme.

• The Institutional Repository of the Vidyapeeth has been created using DSpace and is available on the library webpage.

• MCCIA (Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture): The facility is useful for management students, as emails are received regarding programs organized, which can be attended by students and faculty members.
