This course grooms the students for administrative / management jobs in Hospitals.
Depending on performance, one could rise to the level of CEO i.e. Administrator in a
Hospital. Medical tourism is fast emerging as a big opportunity for India. The low cost
advantage, coupled with high quality health care providers & English speaking staff, will
attract foreign patients. With the major industrial houses in the process of setting up
modern, high tech. Hospitals with macro capacities, the hospital industry is set to bloom
& flourish. In the next few years, the Hospital industry is expected to face a shortage of
trained & skilled manpower. All those who wish to ride this high tide of demand, should
get themselves trained & equipped to grab this golden opportunity.

Practical Training - Students will be posted to different hospitals, after the 2nd semester, for a period of one month. They will be required to work with department staff & study the functions of
respective departments. They have to serve & study each Department on the following

5. Economics of the Department
6. Utility of the Department to the total Hospital organization
