Aims and Objectives
--- To get acquainted with the current trends in modern librarianship
--- To enable the students to understand the linkages with other libraries in the country and also international linkages
--- To enable the students to understand the need of upgrading libraries to meet the demand of time
--- To understand the role and importance of research in Libraries and information centers
Eligiblity
--- Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science of any recognized University
--- Preference will be given to candidate having additional educational qualification

1 year(Semester Pattern)
Admission Procedure

Entrance Test on every 2nd and 4th Sunday (May and June)
Necessary Documents
--- Degree certificate/Marklist of Library and Information science
--- TC/Migration Certificate
--- NOC of the Employer for the In-Service Candidates
Examination Shedule
--- Ist semester exam in Nov/Dec. and IInd semester exam in April
--- Submission of Group project
--- Internal assessment through Assignments, Seminars and Test
Fee Structure Rs.16,000
