Student Facilities

Library

The Central Library of the Vidyapeeth possesses a sizeable collection of 85,000 book and non-book reading material in Social Sciences, Sanskrit Literature, Philosophy, Religion, Indology, Ayurveda, Computer Science, Engineering, Management etc. and provides services to students of all the courses of the Vidyapeeth. Every year the inventory progress is increasing. The Departmental Libraries, too, provide rich reading material to all the students.

Library

Rare Books and Manuscripts Collection

Rare Books and Manuscripts collection may be said to be a special feature of this library. Well known Sanskritists and learned scholars have donated their personal collections to the library.

Library Automation

Networking is also one of the ways of achieving the goal of resource sharing. The Technology is revolutionizing library automation and networking of the libraries. INFLIBNET is one of the major programs of UGC, initiated towards automation and networking of libraries. The library of this Vidyapeeth has been identified by the UGC under INFLIBNET programme.

Laboratories

The Vidyapeeth encourages the students to make extensive use of computers. The computer laboratory is spacious. Also Internet connectivity is operational.

The Vidyapeeth has developed well-equipped laboratories for Electronics, Physics, Chemistry and Biotechnology.

Seminar Hall

Besides regular classroom teaching, the Vidyapeeth takes efforts to provide exposure to the students to various fields. Such exposure is by means of various seminars, presentations, workshops and so on. For this the students have the seminar hall - Lokmanya Tilak Hall.

Classrooms

Each classroom is well lit having comfortable seating arrangement. The atmosphere is impregnated with vibrations of knowledge. Guest lectures are conducted in air-conditioned classrooms with the facility of OHP, slide projector and laptops.

Hostels

Ladies' Hostel :

The newly constructed Ladies' Hostel fully equipped with modern amenities is ready and can accommodate more than 100 lady students.

Boys' Hostel :

Construction of Boys' Hostel is in progress.
However, presently accommodation is provided in the Guest House to a limited number of male students.

Library

Recreation Room

Apart from the regular Canteen, Indoor Games are also enjoyed by a large number of students here.

Media Centre

Considering the challenges to be faced in this 21st Century, the Vidyapeeth has established the Media Center. The Vidyapeeth now aims to utilize modern ICT facilities to reach student masses.

Training and Placement Cell

The Vidyapeeth has established a full-fledged Training and Placement Cell for carrying out placement activities. The Placement Cell, under the guidance of the placement officer, undertakes the placement activities. It comprises of counselling, motivation, training, interaction with top management for final placement.
The placement cell also help students in getting industrial training, summer projects assignments and placements through its widespread contacts within the industry. Various reputed industries visit the Vidyapeeth for campus interviews.
Final year students have to pay the requisite fee (Rs. 1,000/-) for this facility. The placement facility is available only for TMV Campus students.
